Nope not the women of Wisteria lane, silly! St. Jude! HeheheheheI actually am attributing my being able to pass the NLE to St. Jude. I reviewed for the nursing board exam in Recto, in manila, and almost every catholic nursing graduate who wants to pass the board, would trek to the St. Jude shrine in Malacanan, especially on Thursdays. The friends I made at the review center were also devotees of the Saint just like I am, and we did the Novena to St. Jude, weekly, to ask for his help.
You wont believe the number of people who come to ask for St. Jude's help. It was also quite funny to see all those board examinees with their No.2 mongol pencils waving in the air, having them blessed for the exam. It was kind of odd, but whatever works for them as long as what they are doing isn't sacrilegious! Sometimes you have to let your faith leap out and do the decisions for you. Everything is possible when you believe!
And so I did make it through, and last Thursday (March 27), I was able to visit his shrine again, if only to thank God, through St. Jude for listening to my prayers and answering them. And again; to enlist his intersession to again assist me in the other stuff I need to accomplish.
Salamat kay St. Jude! Salamat higit sa lahat sa Diyos!
